The periodic motion, consisting of continual hops, of a particle under the action of a vibrating machine (e. g. vibratory conveyor, screen, metering machine). After studying the region of periodic motion in the vertical plane xy normal to the track plane xz, we analysed the stability to small perturbations of the periodic motions obtained.


To determine the stability of the periodic solutions obtained is applied the perturbation method. The initial condition was imposed.

Application to resonance analysis and forced motion studies of a single particle.
